A court in Paris has found guilty ten people for engaging in the digital intimidation of Brigitte Macron, the spouse of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
The those on trial faced allegations of spreading false claims regarding her gender and sexuality, in addition to publishing defamatory statements about the husband and wife's age disparity of 24 years.

This recent ruling in France comes as the Macrons engaging in a defamation lawsuit in the United States of America against right-wing influencer Candace Owens, who has likewise promoted comparable unfounded claims about the French president's wife's biological sex.
Their lawsuit alleges that Owens brushed aside substantial counter-evidence disproving her claim opting to platforming known conspiracy theorists.
Owens has frequently reiterated these assertions on her show and online platforms, and in March 2024 declared that she would risk all her credibility on her conviction that Mrs. Macron was born a man.
Brigitte Macron originally became acquainted with her now-husband when she worked as an educator at his secondary school.
